Year Endings part 1

Team of the Year
As the school year comes to another end there are the usual wrap up activities. At the Qatar Academy Sports Award Banquet the boys both received medals of achievement. Simon's Junior Varsity Basketball Team was selected Team of the Year. Simon also received the Coach's Award for his willingness to "play up" to the Varsity team, for his commitment to the team, and for the team's second highest scoring points. Max received the Most Improved Player for the Varsity Swim Team.

The boys closing basketball event was a friendly competition among the teams that participated in this semester's Qatar Foundation round-robin tournament. Simon and Max won first and second place in the Shooting Contest. Simon also won second place in the Dunking Contest. While Max did not win an award for dunking, he was the first competitor and here is a video of his dunk.
