On the first weekend in March, Tim and Lisa were thrilled to be able to join Max and Simon in Kuwait for their school basketball tournament. Qatar Academy took 4 squads (40 students) to the tournament so there was lots of Varsity and Junior Varsity action to see!
Max and Simon's Varsity Boys team was undefeated for the entire round robin play. They entered the final game with a 6 - 0 record. And the final game was as exciting and as stressful as any we have watched. The boys played the American School of Kuwait and at the end of regular time the score was 42-42. At the end of the 3 minute overtime the score was 49-50. A heartbreaking loss for our boys.
